Football fan (UGA and Falcons) and a Springsteen fanboy. Part the Dude, part Corleone. Father of three. Middle-aged, progressive pastor, born and raised in a small town in Georgia, currently living in and serving a congregation located in Ferguson, MO. I am an advocate for those beyond the margins whose voices often go unheard by those of privilege and power. I support BLM, seek to be an ally to LGBTQIA+ persons, and a feminist. I have been described in many ways, many of which I should probably not put in print here. I see myself as a comforter of the afflicted and an afflictor of the comfortable. I have a lot of rough edges, and I am perfectly ok with that. It took me quite a while to become comfortable in my own skin, and I am grateful for where that journey has taken me.
